Sinceits establishment in 2004, Muffy’s, with its four major parks in Beijing, Wangjing,Wanliu, Xiangshan and Century City, has won a good reputation and parents’unanimous approval with its unique English immersion education and high qualityteaching quality.  

Muffy’s Century Park is set up at the end of2015, and locates on the 25th floor of Huibo Plaza in Lan Dianchang Road in HaidianDistrict. Before my visit to this new park, I have been very curious about it. Howwould it be different from the others since it locates in a building instead ofa huge park?

I walked into Muffy’s Century City Park withthis curiosity. Teachers here were very cordial and impressed me a lot.Principal Zhang of the park warmly received us, and accomplished us to visitthis small and fine kindergarten.

Every child will do a daily basic physicalexamination in health room, such as taking body temperature, checking the mouthand so on. Principal Zhang felt very proud of the health room. The room locatesin the rooftop’s outdoor activities area. Rooftop fences had been heightenedand all kinds of facilities were wrapped in soft sponge to ensure children’ssafety. The whole park’s monitoring system covered every corner of the park,including rooftop, bathroom and wash basin. Standing here, you can have abeautiful and huge spring view from high above, which could be hardly seen inother kindergarten.

Principal Zhang invited two student parents,Patrick’s parent and Vivian’s parent, to better introduce the park to me. They wereamong parents of the first students of the park. Before admission to Muffy’s,they had visited many famous international kindergartens or publickindergartens, but chose Century City Park at last because of the caringteachers here and the park’s high concern on children.  

There are around 25 students in a class inother kindergartens, while in Muffy’s Century City the number is basicallybetween 10-12, with a foreign teacher, a Chinese teaching assistant (Every Chineseassistant is requested to communicate with children in English), and a lifeteacher in each class to ensure high concern on each child.

Take Patrick for example. Patrick was5 years old, and enrolled in a large and well-known kindergarten before goingto Muffy’s Century City Park. Patrick’s previous class also had three teachers but25 children. So it was very hard for teachers to pay equal attention to everychild. Patrick once accidentally fell on the toilet and got hurt on the head. Hehad to be seamed 7,8 pin, which made Patrick’s mother very worry about hissafety in the kindergarten, let alone learning knowledge or cultivatinginterest there.

Patrick’s mother told me that she was verylucky to find Muffy’s Century City. “Children here are very safe. The teachercan take care of each child and there are also full-time health care doctors inthe park, and every child has a basic health check every day. Each classroom isequipped with 1-2 air purifiers to ensure the health of children. Although theplace is small, children need a place full of joy and love more than a hugeplace to play. Century City Park is such a love and safe family.”

As a wholly English immersion kindergarten,every class here has a foreign head teacher and no Chinese is allowed here. Allforeign teachers are requested to have professional teaching titles or teachingexperiences abroad.  

Vivian’s mother told me that Vivian hadmade huge progress after coming to Muffy’s Century City Park over a year ago.Vivian was only around 2 years old then. Muffy’s provide toddler class inaddition to normal small class, middle class and large class. At the admission,Vivian’s mother worried that her baby could not adapt, and prepared everylittle things Vivian used in daily life. However, after less than two months, Vivianhad quit diaper, and knew how to cover his mouth when sneezing and would payattention to volume when speaking in public and so on. These surprise Vivian’smom a little more every day! Vivian’s mother said she would definitely send hersecond child here in the future.



  Every child here has their own learningplan. Teachers will talk to parents if their child is ready to accept more newknowledge. Children here learn more than their peers.

Patrick’s mother told me that, every child ofthe same class would get different math homework. Teachers would take intoaccount the different stages of each child to develop their own learning plan. Also,Patrick behad very impatiently when first came here. But after over a year, he improveda lot in personality. In the previous two days, Patrick’s teacher developed someimproving plans with Patrick’s mother.

    Atthe end of the visit, the two beautiful mothers jokingly told me that Muffy’s CenturyCity Park was so small and fine that they always wanted to hide it forthemselves.t came here. Love for children from the heart, differentstandards for different children, guide them with respect to each child’sunique personalitythese are why Muffy’s gets better and better over morethan ten years.
